The airflow control dial feels solid and clicks into place perfectly, and the boost feature really does kick in fast when I need to sear. It took me a few tries to get the charcoal bed right, but once I did, maintaining 250°F for hours was honestly easier than my old gas grill setup.

Still dialing in my brisket temps and this thing nailed it — the airflow knob lets me drop from a roaring fire to a lazy smoke in seconds without babysitting. Even my charcoal setup feels more predictable now, and cleanup was honestly easier than I expected.

The boost-on-demand feature is a total game changer—I can crank up the flame for searing or dial it back to a slow smoke without touching the vents. It’s made my whole cook routine feel almost lazy, which is exactly what I wanted.
